Sadly, Richard Wylie passed away in 2018.
Mr. Wylie was one of the founding partners of Wylie, McBride, Platten &  Renner in 1967.
His area of practice within the Firm focused on civil trial work, personal injury and eminent domain.  He retired from the Firm, and active practice, in December 2003.
Prior to founding the Firm, he was a Deputy District Attorney for the County of Contra Costa and subsequently joined the San Jose law firm of Morgan, Beauzay & Holmes.
In the early and mid 1960’s Dick was active in the Civil Rights Movement.
Dick was born in Fresno, California and made Willow Glen his home, where he and his wife, of over 50 years, raised their two children.  Dick was also a proud grandparent.  Dick was a devoted Stanford football and basketball fan, attending most of the games.
